If you were to ask any event planner how long they’ve been planning events, I bet most if not all will tell you that they’ve been doing it for as long as they can remember. From the very first event, while working at the Department of Social Services in New York in the late 80’s, Founder/Owner, Sondra Reed, knew that this was her passion. For over 25 years, she has been planning flawless events, and loves each event as if it was her very first. In 2007 she turned her dream of being a business owner into a reality.

 

Always known for thinking out of the box and more importantly for thinking of others, in 2008 Sondra decided to put together a mock wedding as an alternative to the traditional bridal show. Her vision was one that would give brides an up close and personal interaction with vendors while giving vendors the opportunity to showcase their talents and services to the brides just as if they were performing it for them at their own wedding. This concept would allow both the brides and the vendors to build an emotional connection.

 

Unfortunately, as she was putting together this new opportunity her mother unexpectedly passed away in 2009 and her world just about crumbled. To make matters worse, her father passed away that next October, leaving her without a purpose. After taking some time away, she decided to honor her parents by living life in their memory and has again begun planning events with a renewed sense of hope.
